Abortion has consequences for Mental Health 2010 Post-Abortion Syndrome Conference Training for professionals working with Post-Abortive Clients and Patients The Archdiocese of New York and Lumina/Hope and Healing After Abortion will provide a one-day training for all professionals working with post abortive individuals, on April 19 from 8:30-4pm at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers. This training is for mental health professionals, nurses, doctors, NFP practitioners, priests, deacons and any healthcare professionals working with post-abortive men and women. The conference will offer several talks and workshops to educate and inform those about Post-Abortion Syndrome, effective and sensitive treatment with post-abortive individuals, and a more in-depth look at how Post-Abortion Syndrome impacts their daily lives and their mental/medical health.
